More proof the media don’t know anything about guns:
According to training Lt. Eric Osanitsch, the department made the move to upgrade to what he called a better ballistic weapon when the Glock 40 mm was chosen as the new department-issued service piece.
I think they mean 40 caliber.

I wasn’t aware Glock made grenade launchers.
And yes, 40mm is the caliber of the M203 under-rifle grenade launcher used by the US military, as well as the Vietnam-era M79 it replaced. Also the caliber ofthe Bofors anti-aircraft guns used by the Navy in WWII and on the ill-fated Sgt York ADA vehicle in the 80s.
