CNN 50 Caliber Rifle Update – Senator’s office responds
A reader informs me that he has received a response from the office of the Senior Senator from Texas stating they will look into the entire matter and find out if ATF doesn’t prosecute why they don’t prosecute.

Wow…of course if the ATF does press charges, the reporter will not have to talk because they are better than all of us anyways.

Or he won’t talk because of, you know, the fifth amendment.

Everybody needs to write to the President, their Senators and Representatives. (See the NRA-ILA website for a facility to easily email your elected reps – or write letters)
This is going to be political, so let’s get out in front of it. The law either needs to be enforced, or the law needs to be changed. There should not be a different set of laws for the news media to follow.

Don’t expect the ATFE to ever get off their butts to prosecute a newsie, or even an armed felon.
They are way too busy busting honest people for minor technical violations, or entrapping dealers or gunshow participants.

CNN should feel lucky that they were not buying rubber bands!
