Where do I get one of those?
A reader emails that Reporting standards fail again:
Police said they recovered a 10-gauge, .22-caliber Ruger rifle with a modified stock and multiple 10-gauge magazines from the car.
I’m sure they could mean a 10 gauge and a Ruger 10/22. I’d says it’s more likely they got a Ruger 10/22.

Holy cow….10 gauge magazines.
Hey, what if it’s an over/under 10-gauge and .22? Now that’s an interesting combination.

My guess would be that they are trying to say 10 round magazines. I would much prefer a 10 liter magazine. Of course, then you would have to import the metric ammo for it. The only problem with that is the short range, since we all know a meter is not as long as a yard. Then again, maybe there is a magazine, as in a periodical, devoted to the 10 gauge that this gentleman had been reading. I don’t see it unreasonable to have the latest issue of 10-guage magazine in the car.
