Saying the Constitution is a living document is the same as saying we don’t have a Constitution.

I see the point, but the bare fact that it can, and has been, amended still lends credence to the fact that it is not a static document.

I concur but this whole re-interpreting what something means to include stuff that isn’t there is ludicrous. By all means, change it legally. Don’t, however, act like the fourth amendment does not exist.

The constitution is still used but not recognized by most in the political sphere. Just like federal judges they will continue to skew it to benefit whatever their agenda might be at that time, but by no means is it a document that the political entities use as a guide line. The only way this country will remain on a downward spiral to government control until someone takes us back to the constitutions original form. This of course obstructs their powers, so I do not see it happening soon.
