quick question if anyone has a strong opinion on it: Where I live, it’s hard to register for a handgun but I can practice a couple of blocks away while I wait. I’ve done some shooting before and seemed to like the standard glock. Ok choice, or should I stick with a revolver? (Any reading recommendations would be welcomed)
Depends on what you’re going to use if for. If it will be only a range gun, get whatever you like since it will be used at the range. In terms of home defense, either a glock or revolver would be fine. Some will caution you to get a NY trigger for the glock to raise the trigger weight from 4.5 pounds to 8 so as to avoid Glock Leg. Either a revolver or glock is a fine choice, imo.

Thanks very much – I read about the NY trigger in an early post and thought it sounded reasonable. d.
