Able Danger
A military intelligence team repeatedly contacted the F.B.I. in 2000 to warn about the existence of an American-based terrorist cell that included the ringleader of the Sept. 11 attacks, according to a veteran Army intelligence officer who said he had now decided to risk his career by discussing the information publicly. The officer, Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer, said military lawyers later blocked the team from sharing any of its information with the F.B.I.
This unit identified Mohammed Atta and three other 9/11 hijackers in the year 2000. Bill Quick notes:
The big objection to Rep. Curt Weldon’s revelations about Able Danger was that his source was anonymous. That is apparently no longer the case, so almost immediately Weldon’s charges become much more credible again.
Heads should roll.

No, the big objection appears to be that Weldon has changed his story several times, claims things (the chart, for instance) that he cannot back up, and cliamed that the information showed things that could not have been true (Atta in two places at once). So while I am not ruling this out, I still need more evidence. I want the RIGHT heads to roll.

I don’t have the links here, but if you read sites like Powerline, Capt. Ed, and Betsy, then put it all together (as a commenter at Betsy’s did), the heads could well be Clinton’s. The “wall” that prevented the communication was put there by Gorelick on behalf of Clinton. The theory is to prevent the DoJ, FBI, and CIA from connecting the dots on the Clinton’s illegal activities outside the US. The delegation of the 9/11 investigation to a committee from Congress is a very suspicious act. Why would the body of politic that investigates something as petty as steroids in baseball delegate something as important as the 9/11 investigation? And why would the woman who clearly had significant input in the events leading up to it be on the commission?
Taken completely and in context, it is becoming clear to me that our representatives failed this country over the past 10 years on a monumental scale. It is too disturbing to even write about.
