Well, that’s pretty screwed up
WBIR:
A 12-year-old Knoxville middle school student saw the remains of her father in a gruesome photograph of a drunk-driving crash during a presentation by police.
The presentation was meant to educate teenagers about the dangers of driving under the influence.
Uhm, can’t you guys use some non-local footage or something?

As I said elsewhere, I think there have been studies* that show that ‘blood on the highway’ presentations do nothing but make the weak-stomached sick and the beavis-and-buttheads giggle in the back of the room.
*not polls, uncle. 🙂

I’m still awaiting a cite on that other poll. Say, in that other ‘study’, did they get their info via a poll? 🙂

Study. Polls ask people their opinions. Studies study polls. It was in ‘The Nation.’ 1996 or so. I am blocked from Lexis-Nexis at UT as I left that SHITHOLE for greener pastures and Rutgers (those greener pastures) only allows access from on-campus machines. I’ll find it if I can manage the time.

Better showing useless films than glock-shooting themselves in the foot.
Public schools…..as much foolishness as law enforcement.
