Didn’t follow the link, but Gonzales at least served on the Texas Supreme Court for a while before Dubya brought him up to the big leagues. And his law degree is from Harvard. Mier’s is from Southern Methodist University, and she appears to be a corporate hack lawyer and not a very good one at that. I would never support Gonzales because of his torture memo and his handling of death penalty cases in Texas, but he seems more qualified to me.

I don’t necessarily disagree but really liked the analogy. We’d either get a douche or a turd sandwich, neither is preferable.
