Another case against Colt

Never been a fan of Colts. Don’t get me wrong, they’re fine guns but they are way overpriced. You can get plenty more gun for plenty less money. Tam wonders why top gun makers are located in states not particularly friendly to gun owners. Meanwhile, our local gun maker of note, Barrett Rifles, has gone to bat for gun rights plenty of times.

WA is noted as a blue state (thank you Seattle), but is actually, aside from the full auto ban and lagging CCW reciprocity actually very gun friendly (no class required for CCW permit; permit holders can carry inside the state capitol building).

Also the home of the HQ of Olympic Arms, although I think their actual manufacturing plant is in SoCal somewhere.

OK, just for gits and shiggles and off the top of my head: gun makers, states, and gunfriendliness:

    Colt: Conn, unfriendly.
    Remington: NY(?), unfriendly
SA, Armalite, Les Baer: IL, unfriendly
    SiG: NH, friendly
FN (also makes components for Browning & Winchester): SC, friendly
    RobArm: Utah, friendly

    Who’s got more?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
