Canadian Geese have become quite a nuisance and their population has grown. Alphie reports:
The plan will allow farmers, property owners and public health officials to kill geese by various methods, including hunting, with state approval but without federal permits, the Charlotte (N.C.) Observer said.

I hate them when they walk and squalk
I hate them when they poop and talk
I hate them when they cross the road
I hate them when they squat local ponds as their abode
I recommend machete ms-13 their necks at night
take them home and pluck them right.
The overloads think this is wrong in some way
A permission slip you did not receive, nor did you pay
Cook at 350 degrees till done
I wish a turkey was this much fun
I actually like my geeses to pieces (with stuffing|dressing)
(sorry, feeling kinda silly today)

There was an article in the NYT this weekend about researchers working in the Chicago suburbs who have determined that the abrupt stabilization of the once out-of-control Canada goose population is a result of coyote nest-robbing. Coyote researchers claim the canines are far more abundant and capable of surviving in populated areas than was suspected. The word “wily” was used.

Then you get those big meenie snapping turtles (tasty themselves) pulling the cute little fuzzy baby gosling underwater until they drown.
