That’s true, but so far only SF has taken the bait, so if the referendum succeeds, it’s unlikely too many cities other than Frisco would be affected. The beauty of referenda, as opposed to regular ballot measures, is that the proponents of the referendum want the voters to vote “no” on the law itself, not “yes” on the measure to repeal it. This is key because about one-quarter of the electorate votes “no” on everything just to be dicks.

actually its a state-wide petition, not SF. And its to put a ballot measure on the ballot.
