Attended some training from work the other day. One of the instructors was from TN and of course, we discusssed football. He told me the following joke:
A kid tells his teacher that his parents beat him. The state takes custody and has a hearing. In it the judge rules the kid should be given to his grandparents.
Oh no, says the kid, they beat me too.
Well, the judge says, you can go live with your uncle and aunt.
Kid shakes his head. They beat him every chance they get.
The judge asks the kid, Are there any relatives of yours who don’t beat you?
Kid shakes his head again.
The judge thinks for a while, and then rules:
In light of the boy’s situation, I hereby award custody of him to the University of Tennesee, because we all know they can’t beat anyone!
