Prior to the capture of “Beltway Sniper” suspects John Allen Muhammad and John Lee Malvo, an unconfirmed number of Maryland gun owners received surprise visits from the FBI as part of the investigation. One such gun owner had a surprise of his own for the agents when they arrived at his home.

Hats off to this guy! I love reading stories about the powers that be being held accountable to the laws they are sworn to protect, but determined to break. Because they assumed that the sniper drove a van they were fully prepared to violate his rights as a citizen and had he not contacted the media this is what would have happened and without so much a slap on the wrist had a complaint been filed.
