Quote of the day
It is true that much of the intelligence turned out to be wrong. As president I am responsible for the decision to go into Iraq. And I’m also responsible for fixing what went wrong by reforming our intelligence capabilities. And we’re doing just that.
Holy crap.

Is that a Good Holy Crap???
Or a Bad Holy Crap???

Not sure but it is good to see the president admit that.

Wait a minute. Admit what? I thought that there were WMDs in Iraq, and that there were ties to al-Qaeda, and that therefore, the intelligence wasn’t substantially flawed!

[…] And then, of course, there’s this, which, if you’re keeping score, makes it Bush’s decision, Hussein’s choice, but the CIA’s fault. […]

Reforming? Does that mean he’s telling Goss to get busy and start some heads rolling? Can I at least hope????

When he fires someone, then I’ll pay attention. Until then it’s just a lot of blah-blah.

Admit what? This is something he has been saying for a long time , if you would listen.
The AP is trying to make it like The President had a mea culpa, BS !
Read the Interview with Brit Hume and tell me he has had a mea culpa !
Have any of you actually read the Presidents Strategic Plan that The Whitehouse published the other day?
Bottom Line: All he is saying is the BUCK STOPS with HIM, That is quite Presidential? Don’t we want a President that says that?
All a big bunch of BS over NOTHING !

I understand that he’s saying the buck stops with him. However, this is the first time I think the president has acknowledged in no uncertain terms that the intelligence may have been a bit, well, lackluster. And I say that as someone who supported the war and still does.
