Seems unlikely but…
The U.S. government has called on NATO members to prepare for a possible attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, the German daily Der Spiegel reported Saturday.
NATO officials said the United States is seriously weighing the possibility of military action against Iran.
The administration has been pretty clear on not allowing Iran to have nukes. Honestly, I figure if we don’t then Israel will. Kind of surprised they haven’t yet.

I wonder, though, what the public reaction would be with the current whiny media getting to control the message?

This isn’t 1974 anymore, or even 1984. As much as they’d like to think so, they don’t control the message.

Somebody is going to get a really rare and coveted service bar. Good luck and Godspeed.

I read somewhere that Isreal has launched (or soon will) two diesel powered subs.
They won’t confirm or deny that they have nukes on them.
But the analyst I read the info from indicated that the subs are intended to be a MAD deployment. If Isreal gets nuked, the subs will be able to retaliate.
Yummy.

It’s a long flight from Israel to Iran’s furthest borders. Maybe they don’t have planes with both the range and the performance needed to get through Irani air defenses. Even if they do, they’ll have to cross over other nations to reach Iran. I think the shortest path is through Iraq, but they won’t do that now without assurances that our planes will look the other way. Otherwise, I think they’d have to go through Syria (no big problem, but dogfights there would use fuel and ammo they’ll need later on) and Turkey (possibly a big problem).
