Helluva deal
32 round, 9mm magazines for the Colt style AR-15 for $10.99. These are the Promags that Bushmaster uses. Snatch some up.
Update: Apparently, Natchez will not ship to Tennessee, Georgia or Alabama due to sales tax regs (they’re in Chattanooga). Sadly, I’m in Tennessee. Guess I’ll be paying full price. Stupid tax laws.
Update 2: If any of you out of state folks want to get with some of us in state folks for a group buy that will be shipped to you, let me know. Must be willing to ship them to me. I’ll reimburse shipping, of course. That’s all provided that the math works out. In state folks can get them here for $18.40 but if you’re local CCA had them for about $20.
Update 3: Ok, I have one other person in on the deal. If you’re in, let me know.

If you want, you can send them to me and I will forward them onto you.
Shoot me an email. Heck, just had a great interview today. If all goes well, I may be back down in your neck of the woods on vacation between jobs within a couple of weeks. If so, I could drop them off then.

I thought you’d decided to go with the Oly 9mm upper?

Nah, changed my mind for a few reasons. See here

I assume then, that the RRA is a Colt-style upper? Does it require the special hammer?
Sorry to ask all these questions, but that link to the arf.com FAQ doesn’t seem to want to load.
And dang you, you’ve got me wanting to get a 9mm AR. And I’ve got too many C&Rs on my wish list to afford it. Maybe if I make it another present for the wife. Yeah, that’s the ticket…

Yes, it is a colt style and yes you need a hammer. Well, the hammer is recommended. Some say you don’t need them or regular hammers cause damage. I figure it’s worth the $15 to be safe.

The VM Hytech magwell block that lets you use Uzi mags looks pretty darn slick…I noticed a bunch of guys in the photo thread seemed to have them. Pricey, though.

The reason Natchez won’t ship to those states has nothing to do with sales taxes. They don’t seem to say much about it these days, but their web site (or catalog maybe) used to explain it. When they started out as a wholesaler, they only sold to dealers in those states. When they went with the mail order retail business, they excluded them so as not to compete with the businesses that had supported them up to that time.
That took some real character to exclude potential customers. It’s enough of a reason for me to do business with them, even when I might get a little better deal from CTD or Midway.

Geek, I called them and the guy said it was due to sales taxes. He could have been pullling my leg, of course.

HL, these mags replace uzi mags and work in the block.
