Did you know. . .
In Tennessee, they card you for O’Doul’s and other non-alcoholic beers? I didn’t. The Mrs. is pregnant and can’t drink but she got the urge to have a beer. Off to the store I go and I was carded for it.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Is that actually the law, or did the drone behind the counter just not know it was non-alcoholic?
Maybe they think it’s a “gateway drink” that will eventually lead to “the harder stuff.”

O’douls does contain some alcohol. I believe it’s made from real beer with the alcohol mostly removed, but I do know you can get drunk if you drink a *lot* of it.

Yeah, it has some. I pointed out the vanilla extract i was also buying had more alcohol in it and required no age verification.

IIRC, O’Douls has roughly the same alcoholic content as the average glass of O.J. (i.e, not a screwdriver or double-murderer) does.

Carded? Hell, I haven’t been carded since I was 19. ‘Course, I lost most of my hair then, too…
