Those clever guys at “Gun Guys” have a post on the no retreat bills also. They almost sound as stupid as the brady bunch.
I’m still trying to figure out how they can call themselves “gun” guys.

Have you seen their absolutely assinine cartoon about shoot first laws? Hey, I just searched for the cartoon and it seems it was so assinine that they took it down. I think have a copy somewhere, I’ll post the download if I find it.
And look what they have to say on DailyKos: This is the law that gives “the people of Florida permission to use deadly force as a first resort, even in a public place. The law grants sweeping criminal and civil immunity to anyone who pulls the trigger when they feel ‘threatened’ — and specifically denies legal recourse to innocent bystanders killed or wounded in the crossfire, even if the shooter acted negligently.”
I’m not sure why that bit is in quotes, or who they’re quoting, but there’s at least two blatant lies in that exerpt. I don’t know how these people can live with themselves.
I also like how they never mention anything about states like Washington that have always been “stand your ground” states.

I guess I should provide a link to that crap on Kos.

Self-fulfilling Prophesy
It seems that the artist formerly known as Handgun Control Incorporated is simply regurgitating the same lame press release in response to every state level proposal to enact a “Stand your ground” law.
