CCW in Hawaii
No, really. There’s a push for shall issue CCW in the Aloha State. It has almost no chance of passing, I’d bet.

I think Hawaii was among the first states to impose a 10 round limit on magazines. Chance of passing? Nil to infinitesemal.

If it does pass, then I’ll know the Apocalypse is nigh.
Either that, or it’s definitely time to push a repeal of the ’68 GCA.

Not going to happen here. The last time someone floated this, our most rabid city council member said, “you put up CCW [at the State], I’ll put up a total handgun ban [for the City & County of Honolulu, where over half the people in the state live]. You won’t the votes to pass CCW, but I will for the ban.” The measure was quickly withdrawn.
