Things aren’t always what they seem.
Oldest son was going to babysit some neighbor boys. Neighbor lady asked me, “You guys have guns in your house, don’t you?”
Puzzled, because he’d be watching them at their house, not ours, I responded hesitantly, “Yes …”
She breathed a sigh of relief and said, “Good, then I won’t need to explain to your son not to worry about the guns inside our gun safe!”
