I find it ironic that an entity that removes armament, from their own participents, think they can maintain peace by disarmament?
Granted, a stable government should, SHOULD regulate the armes available to the populace, however, the LEAST bitching, the least slaughtering, the least oppressive, and the greatest supporters of economic, and basic governmental stability nation in the world, is the heaviest armed nation, at least in numbers, and DEFINATELY in training.
WE, have a habbit of hitting our targets, unlike . . . .well, let me check, EVERY OTHER NATION ON THE PLANET, including their friggen governmental forces.
Give me 2K US NRA members against 50K sudanese? and those 2K NRA members will force peace in that pissant nation in an instant, without ever having fired a shot against their fellow American.
THOUGH!!! there is a value in allowing only nations to own guns, as long as the UN doesn’t think they can act against the US.
I say this for one reason. If any of nations who join the gun elimination actions of the UN, don’t allow their populace to posess firearms? THEN we can say, “if only the gubment has guns, why are there so many genocidal executions with guns?” And the US, based on the UN charter can act, and kill ANYONE with a gun. It would be a closer effort to an open and honest war, since the US hasn’t declared a ground war since WWII. OH! there was a declaration of War in 91, but that was the AIR war, not ground, took them 5 more years to realize that we were at war. I have a “ketchup stain” to tell the truth? I was in the LAST Marine Corps class that had the “ketchup stain” That it was called a “ketchup stain” while I served? doesn’t judge me, it judges the congress.
I HATE the cowardice of congress.

OH! BTW, I’m more proud of my “NAM” and in fact, my OSSM is actually my pride and joy. I should have had a star, but I was denied “for security reasons” cuz I had a clearance, PISSED ME OFF!!!
