That would really stick it to the Turks, which wouldn’t bother me in the least.

Reminds me of the British Empire dividing things up into Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, etc. Reviewing history, it seems that it might help solve some short term problems, but the long term problems tend to be a bitch.
Still, I’m not saying it’s the wrong solution in this case.

They should split and refederate… something not unlike what we have, if you consider a state as an independent government.

Ditto on the India, Pakistan, et al comment. Then you’d just have three countries fighting in border disputes for the rest of eternity instead of three factions fighting inside one border.
