I’ll take Waste of Money for $1,000
D&C:
Federal and local law enforcement authorities will unveil a new anti-gun-violence billboard and telephone hotline at a news conference in Rochester today.
The billboard and number will encourage people to report illegal gun activity, said District Attorney Michael C. Green. The campaign is part of Project Exile, a state and local program to curb gun violence in Rochester.
I imagine it won’t have much success. And people could call the police.

The KPD recently had a billboard on Kingston Pike in Bearden showing a picture of a S & W snub nose revolver and a warning to “Stop Illiegal Guns”.
It didn’t explain what an illegal gun was, and the S & W snubbie looked okay to me, but I am, nonethelss, on the lookout for illegal guns, whatever they may be.
If the sign had simply warned me to be on the lookout for crackheads and meth junkies, I would at least know what to look for.

Our Texas Government spents a mint full of taxpayer dollars buying media and billboards to convince us to breastfeed, not hit women, be virgins, drive sober, drive with seatbelt on, stay in school, report child abuse, prevent guns from being violent, et, et.
It’s all bovine by-product to me….but it’s my money.

Yeah, I thought that everyone already knew that the number was. 911.

Well, yes, but not all the 911 operators have been trained to recognize that any gun in civilian hands is an emergency.
