Weak law.
1) if they take your guns, you can sue, later, and get reasonable attorney fees. If they give you you guns back the moment you file, once the courthouse is finally reopened, they will only have to pay a bit. There are no punitive damages.
2) no criminal charges included in the law for rouge, body slamming thungs from another state police force.
3) as stated by the commenters,
Meaning, we need strong laws at the state and local level too.
Man, this is mostly a “feel good” law. I’m sooo glad that they “did something” before they recessed to go campaigning.
