On the gunblogger meetup
Kinda funny how when you go to a blogging event that you neglect the blogging. That’s ’cause there’s poker to play and guns to shoot.
Also, I am apparently the youngest gunblogger alive.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

And I may be the oldest one here, but you’re as young as you feel, right? I am indeed commenting at oh-oh-one eight

You can’t be. You’re at least in the same age group as Cam, if not Countertop and Ravenwood. And I’m younger than you all. ๐ I actually know how you’re feeling on that since I’m going to the NRA legal symposium and imagine that I will very likely be one of (generously) 10 or so folks under 30. The only reason there may be that many is because it’s at a law school and I’m assuming it was also advertised there.

I am not a blogger. Barely a commenter. When I was a lad the Chinese had the most advanced computers, the abacus. The rest of us were into the digital age. Using our fingers and toes as aids in calculation and memory exercises.
I don’t think I can spare any sympathy for a man who feels more youthful than his counterparts. I tried, just couldn’t do it.
Keep up the good work.

We need a list of gunblogger ages. Come on now, cough up. I’m 34.

I’ll be 55 in January. Wish I could have made the blogmeet; maybe next time…

October 7th, 2006 at 3:30 pm
Older than 37, but not quite 39.
October 7th, 2006 at 3:31 pm
…but as Les and Unc can confirm, I act about, oh… twelve or so. ๐

I’m 32. I hope we have enough young people into shooting that this doesn’t become a generational issue. I kind of suspect not. Let’s face it, this ain’t a cheap hobby. Despite having no personal firearms in my early 20s, I was still a Gung Ho RKBA person. But once I had money I got my own guns.
Right now the goal is to accumuate as much as I can, until the Democrats pass another Assault Weapons Ban, or I find myself a wife who passes one for me ๐

24. But then, I don’t count as a gunblogger since I don’t actually, you know, blog much.

32…I’d have been there, but I had to work. Apparently there’s a war on.
And I’m fairly certain Uncle hasn’t fessed up to his own age yet.

[…] People have pointed out that I haven’t fessed up to my age in this post. So, I’m not the youngest. But I think she is. […]
