Porous Borders
From the LA Times, we can see one more cost of the drug war: a creeping culture of corruption among the agents charged with policing the line between US and Mexico. Illegal drugs provide the funds to bribe border control agents, but it’s not just drugs that get in– it’s also illegal immigrants and anything else the bad guys want to sneak into America.
Their … tactics were so well developed that smugglers could have moved “nuclear weapons” over the border, said Asst. U.S. Atty. Marina Marmolejo.

And it’s not like the DEA is immune to corruption either. Oh, and local law enforcement is corrupted too by that profit motive known as asset forfeiture. No weed seed in your car? It might be provided for you, all part of that Serve and Protect our butts thing. The War on (some) Drugs is corrupting at every level.

[…] Brutal Hugger writes about more corruption in the War on (some) Drugs. This time it’s border security suffering the effects. […]

The agenda of the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) globalists who control both major party establishemnts is open borders. Otherwise, it would be a “no-brainer” politically for the President to have sealed our borders IF, IF we are in a war on terroism”. The only way that terrorists can attack us is IF they are allowed to enter and stay. Otherwise, they have no delivery systems (bombers, missles, navy, etc) with which to attack our country.
Open borders facilitate the gradual merger and subversion of our nation into their North American Union and IF there is another and worse terror attack, then the reaction will be to take more of our freedoms and possibly some degree of martial law.

It’s just not possible to seal the borders. Preventing people from moving across our borders is actually very hard. It’s a big country, and there’s lots of places to cross from any direction. Even if we used a ton of troops and started shooting people on sight, we’ll never plug all the holes.

If the republicans lose the House, there will be literally nothing holding back amnesty for the next two years. It flew through the senate and the president was eagerly awaiting it this year. If the house goes to the democrats, there is no way it wouldnt get through. Then you can kiss any chances for the republicans goodbye for the next 50 years.

Brutal Hugger,
Yeah, it can’t be done since another part of the globalist agenda is to have our troops all over the world in 100+ countries defending borders (like in Korea for 50+ years). It’s a deliberate refusal to defend our own borders–and yes a trickle may get through, but not thousands and millions!!
beerslurpy,
Something never mentioned by either side is that they (Bush and Congressional Democrats) are allies for open borders and amnesty. And the presumed front-runners for Prez in 2008, McCain and Clinton are both open border and amnesty politicians. John McCain and Hillary Clinton both pandered to the “National Council of La Raza” (the Race), an extreme pro-illegal immigration and racist origanization. (How would any other group labeled the National Council of the the Race be labeled??)

Yeah, Hell China and the Soviet Union were never able to keep millions from sneaking in. Mexico, protects their borders better than we do ours. Check their southern border.

Good points Straightarrow,
Our porous borders are a deliberate policy according to the traitorous globalist agenda of the Council on Foreign Relations which controls the establishments of the two parties and the mainstream media. Two quick examples of the latter: Katie Couric, CFR member, recently got the evening anchor for CBS and Tony Snow, CFR member, recently became the White House spokesman. So there are cetain issues and things they suppress.
I fear that the American electorate are not gonna wake up and realize what’s goin’ on to keep this agenda of the ruling elites in place.

Yep, it’s easy to check out, Standard Mischief. Or else, explain why Democratic and Republican Adminsitrations keep adhering to the same unconstitutional, treasonous agenda?
October 24th, 2006 at 12:48 pm
ummmm, wait, I know this one…. is it because they are congress-critters? Is it because the Repub-o-crats and Dem-o-publicans know that their job is safer when they keep things as a two party system? Is it because the country is filled with people who think they can elect critters that will perpetually hand out bread and circuses? Is it because we’ve got the best government money can buy?
or is it the ET Grays that are scheming with the Trilateral Commission?

Hmmm?? “ET Grays”, “Gnomes of Zirch” Whatta factual refutation!!—a typical one, I might add.
