Quote of the Day
Heh:
Usually all a Republican has to do to win an election is to shut up and let the Democrat talk.

He was making fun of the president being “stuck in Iraq” (which he is) not the soldiers. I dont find anything wrong with what he said.

JustinB, if that were true then what’s so wrong with apologizing to the service members he gravely insulted?
He doesn’t *care*. They’re beneath him, so it’s not worth apologizing for.
John Kerry is simply indefensible.

John Kerry has provided his detractors the “sound bite from hell”.
Regardless of his intent, this limo-liberal comes off as an elitist snob.

John Kerry demonstrates his eltism MOST by being one of the wrost Nazi-Commie citizen disarmers in the Senate. Otherwise he agreed with Bush on Iraq by voting FOR the war and he agrrees with Bush on open borders and amnesty.

[tinfoil hat] John Kerry was compelled to do this by Skull & Bones, who really run the country! [/tinfoil hat]

Oh please, don’t piss on my back and tell me it’s raining. I watched the video, and I read the transcripts. Kerry was clearly implying that only dropouts and morons went to Iraq; he didn’t say a thing about Bush or the reasons for going to war.
Let’s review the money quote: “You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”
I don’t see how anyone can read that and come out with the message that he’s talking about George Bush. The context is clearly aimed at students in high school, students who will be eligible to join the military after graduating. The dichotomy is clear: You get a good education, you will be successful. If you don’t, you go to Iraq.
Please, cut the bullshit.
