Not pro-gun at all
Xrlq takes me to task for calling Missouri Senator-elect Claire McCaskill “not that pro-gun”, noting her F from the NRA. Fine, she’s anti-gun. So anti-gun that she touted the endorsement of an anti-gun group that fakes being pro-gun to deceive people. See here.

Whenever I see “cop-killer bullets” I know I have a Sara Brady clone. They would love to define “cop-killer bullets” as anything that can penetrate a Kevlar vest so we’ll only be left with BBCaps for our guns. On the other hand, I am not all that “pro-gun” either. I have shot since age sixteen and still own my 1967 Walther .22LR which I bought used in 1977 (as well as about another dozen rifles and pistols since) but my father, who was a soldier, shooter and hunter never particularly cared to have me or my brothers have guns. May he rest in peace, he worked very hard to have us be the people who give orders to people with guns. Like Senator-elect McCaskill is. I guess I’m anti-“anti-gun”.
P.S. Thanks for the tip about .22 rifles at Xrlq’s post. I’m behind the times on this. There have been a lot of changes in the firearms industry. (God, how I wanted a Nylon 66 when I was 13. Ralphie and his Red Ryder BB gun could have been me and my Nylon 66.)
