Yeah, I’ve heard about using ATF as well. I’ll just mention that GeekWitha.45 has gotten all enthused about RemOil. Also, Boston T. Party recommends MD Labs XF7.
Kroil is great stuff. It’s everything WD-40 or Liquid Wrench wishes they were. It doesn’t dry out and leave a residue like WD-40, either. I’ve mixed it with other oils or STP for added lubricity.

Really, or at least the older stuff that’s not loaded with friction modifiers.
