How do you spell 4?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

for-preposition
fore- in front or earlier
four-directly after three and directly beFORE five. 🙂
Don’t you just hate it when you have a mental block on something you know damn well you know? Happens to me all the thyme.

Funny, but when I was renting I’d write one check a month..to my landlord. Now that I own, the mortgage payments come out electronically yet I manage to write more checks than I ever did before.

I still have two checks left in the first of two starter check books I got when I opened my accounts … in May 2004. The ones I used went to various things at the kids’ schools, pizza delivery (before Papa John’s started taking cards) and setting up direct deposits and auto-withdrawals.
It’s all done electronically now.

I’m old. I still prefer to write a check. However, my wife is all over this electronic age and has taken over most of our remittances since I am so “old-fashioned” and electronically, digitally, seriously challenged.
I think I heard her mutter something about “fuddyduddy”.
