Behold the awesome power of the market
I mentioned before that I was boycotting Pilot Oil because Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam is a member of the Joyce Foundation-funded Mayors Against Guns. And his family owns Pilot Oil. Apparently, the boycott has other followers too.

Just doing what we can. Actually, given the length of our drive and the fact that Pilot Oil stations dotted the interstate for most of it, they did miss out on the potential for a couple of hundred bucks on this one trip alone. I also reminded Bitchy Mom about it since she drives to Nashville all the time to see her grandson. That’s probably a couple of hundred bucks a year. Pennies to them, but pennies add up eventually. And if not, at least you’re still really high on the Google results for Pilot Oil. 🙂

I’m not sure how a boycott qualifies as ‘the power of the market’. If no one is buying anymore, is it still a market?

Is that the same Pilot that is in Illinois? If so I’m active inseveral clubs here and can get it going here. You can give me a personal reply if you want.
