Reading Brady Email so you don’t have to
Rustmeister gets emails from the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Ownership. Seems they’re all spooked by Parker:
Last week, a Federal Appeals Court overturned Washington D.C.’s long-standing restrictions on handguns a decision that endangers all of America’s gun laws.
This case is most likely headed to the U.S. Supreme Court and we have a tidal wave of work to do before it gets there.
This battle to its very core is the most important battle we have ever waged. We need your help today to build a strong Brady Gun Law Defense Fund to save America’s gun laws.
This fight is so critical to the safety and sanity of our nation that an anonymous donor has extended his challenge and will match dollar for dollar all gifts to this Brady Gun Law Defense Fund. Your gift will be fully tax deductible.
Gee, wonder who the donor is?

Looks like the idea of individual rights and freedoms is nibbling at the pant legs of these miserable sons of bitches. Jack.

Gee… that’s funny. They told me they weren’t worried in my comments.

I have to say, the overblown “end of the world” tenor to the email is reminiscent of NRA messages from the opposite side. I wonder of the GFWs get as tired of getting beat over the head with the Armageddon messages as I do?
Not that we don’t have to be vigilant, but constant, stubborn stick-to-it-iveness is what’s needed instead of running around with our hair on fire. Y’know, that whole whimper instead of a bang thing.

I expect to see more of the usual tactics; nibbling at gun owners from behind, since they can’t survive a face-to-face logic debate. All they have to do is come up with BS about higher fees, more training, etc. Eventually they can discourage and prevent people from acquiring firearms using red tape and monetary attacks.

“Your gift will be fully tax deductible”.
All funds I donate for political causes are NOT tax deductible. Why do the Brady’s get a break?
