Strapped at the NRA Convention
You can’t pack at the NRA convention. Seems the convention center and their insurance company have rules against that.

I have to say, I dig Missouri’s carry laws. I’m not used to seeing signage in PA, and I didn’t see it anywhere other than the convention center in St. Louis. In addition, Missouri’s carry laws are more lax than PA, as we do have one restricted place for sure, which is court rooms, and another, which is schools (universities and colleges are not part of this). But schools in PA are a gray area because no one has ever tested the laws in court.
Missouri technically has several off limits places, but the law specifically says it’s not a crime to carry there. You just have to leave if they ask you to. Pretty cool.

The insurance is assumed, but that’s typically the rule for these events, including most gun shows. That’s just reality these days. It’s also a simple reality about most event venues often, again, tied to insurance.
That said, I will also say that the officers did pledge to consider that when making plans for future meetings.
