Convenient Props
Memphis police chief is supporting a gun law. He uses as a prop a Sig 551 to show the scariness of such evil weapons (like the one that was stolen in Memphis). These weapons have never been used in a crime that I know of. Because they are new machine guns (which are banned for civilian ownership) and Sig doesn’t sell them to the public. Alphie has more.

Of all TN, Memphis is the city most likely to enact gun laws.

Wow, the new Sig 551 shoots a ‘one round burst’. It seems to me that Memphis’ real problem is idiots with badges.
Ban Criminals, Not Guns!

I like Alpha Patriot’s work on the RKBA, but that counter on his site has to be a fuckin joke.
It’s been a LOT longer than 2300 odd days since there was “honor, decency, and integrity in the White House”. By even the most lenient standard. I’d say he’s off by a factor of at least ten. (How many days since Lincoln was shot?)

Hell, if he wants a good prop, he should stand next to a ma deuce and expound upon the “evil fifty caliber”.

I carried my Glock 22C on my hip all weekend while I was in Memphis, and still felt a little light loaded.

“(How many days since Lincoln was shot?)”
Better: (How many days since Lincoln was elected?)
But you could go back further than that without much debate.

Lincoln was the first president to violate the Constitution wholesale. He needs to be remembered for that. He suspended habius corpus and ringed Baltimore with troops and cannons, facing inwards. All of this was to keep a few states from peacefully withdrawing from the union.
Heck, even Jefferson had qualms about the Louisiana Purchase, as there’s nothing in the constitution that would allow the US to purchase land from other sovereign nations.
