Jim, that will happen soon enough. Once more manufacturers start making 6.5 uppers prices will surely drop due to competition.
I’ve yet to even buy an AR yet, but with so many different upper choices I can see this easily becoming a bad addiction. I’ll probably just go ahead and stick with the 5.56 for my first one though.
There are licensing issues with the 6.5 grendel. Alexander Arms charges an exorbitant fee to make uppers for their caliber. There may have been onerous conditions as well.

Sweet, all we need now are some uppers that dont cost a brazillion dollars.
