The latest set of lies from The Brady Campaign To Prevent Gun Ownership:

The National Rifle Association, a gun- rights group with 4 million members, is pressing lawmakers in U.S. states to allow staff and students to carry firearms on campus, according to the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence.The center, in a report today, cites as a recent example an April 2 letter from the association urging Maine legislators to vote down a measure that would enable public colleges and universities to prohibit guns on campus. On April 16, a mentally ill university senior shot dead 32 students and teachers at Virginia Tech before killing himself.

So, you notice the timing there? The NRA is not actively pushing for college kids to carry firearms. They do push for concealed carry holders to not be prohibited from carrying there. That’s different.
