Obligatory Virginia Tech Bandaid
To assist you and your customers to better understand this provision, ATF is clarifying the Firearms Transaction Record (ATF Form 4473), to make it clear, for example, that any person who has been found by a court, board or other lawful authority to be a danger to self or others is prohibited from purchasing a firearm or ammunition. We will provide you with additional information about this change in the Form 4473 in the near future.

Yeah, I got that BS. Trying to figure out why they can’t happen to send the changed form at the same time they send the letter.
I’m really baffled that they seem to miss the point that floated around places like this, that Cho didn’t fall under those restrictions.
Your tax dollars at work.

They don’t care that Cho wouldn’t have been affected by this. Their only concern is that the critical thinking skills of the average American are somewhere between the abilities demonstrated by an ostrich, whose eye is larger than his brain, and a protozoa, who doesn’t have a brain.
This is their camouflage for more restrictions on all those who didn’t do it.
The new American way, “we have a problem, let’s punish everybody who didn’t have a damn thing to do with it.”
