I really wish that they would put a manufacture date in the recall notice. I’ve got some of that stuff buried in the bottom of an ammo can somewhere, but it’s at least 5 years old. It would be nice to be able to rule it out – out of hand – without checking the lot numbers. (I have a lot of .22 kicking around)
Someone was saying that since their .22 was way overbuilt anyway, that they think they went through a box of the stuff already, noting that it was a bit loud. I wonder what that stuff would chronograph at?

Winchester ammo recall I think I may have shot up my “recalled” Winchester .22 LR. It think I recall it being loud. Not sure, tho.
