    Yeah, I agree completely.

Probably so, but by homegrown Jihadi and amateur Jihadi wannabe’s. I think the 1st and 2nd team has gone to hell already.

These incessant terrorist attacks are waking up the part of the world that is willing to listen, excluding elites and politicians, and that is not a good sign for the goat-humpers.

I expect they’ll redouble their efforts to get their own country. Iraq and Somalia have been problematical, other ME Arab governments are riding the tiger, but stronger than AQ.

    Maybe Pakistan or Indonesia.

As for attacks here; many Americans wouldn’t wait for their government to protect them as Europeans seem to do. Whatever it would take would be done.

But these terrorists were obviously amateurs. Anyone can launch a failed attack- all you need is malice, bravery and stupidity in large supply. I think all the really dangerous people (like chemists and machinists) have real jobs.

The key ingredients of “car bomb” are “car” and “bomb”- the fire and canisters of shrapnel definitely get partial credit for effort, but unless the bomb actually throws debris and hurts people more than 3 feet from the car, it isn’t really much of a bomb.

“He insisted we just need to “contain” them.”

I think the person who said this is absolutely correct. I suggest “containing” them in a coffin placed several feet below ground level; coffin part optional.

  5. Stormy Dragon Says:

But wait, I thought they couldn’t attack us here as long as we had soldiers in Iraq? Because Iraq somehow magically blocks access to this country or something.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
