Zumbo: Good for us
Jim Zumbo Has Done More GOOD For ‘BLACK RIFLES’ Then Anyone Else In Modern History
[…]
Jim Zumbo touched off the spark that has allowed black rifles to go mainstream. My guess is that more and more hunters will begin to use these black rifles as they learn about them and see that they are accepted within the hunting community. This wouldn’t be happening if Jim Zumbo had just kept his opinion to himself.
Were it not for Zumbo, I don’t think the NYT nor NBC would have done non-hostile pieces on them.

My friend’s AR-10T is one of the nicest hunting rifles he’s ever owned, and one of the nicest I’ve had the pleasure to fire (well, besides my little Winchester ’94 Wrangler, but it’s in an entirely different class).

Check out the Outdoor Life (aug 07) article on AR platform rifles. Pretty good. Jack.

It may well have enlightened some people. Hopefully some of the hunters that tend to fall into the “Fudd” category will realize that they can’t afford to throw us under the bus in the face of what the anti-gun people would like to do.

I wrote the original post that you quoted above. I really feel that Zumbo’s comments have (inadvertently) drawn a lot of ‘good’ press for ARs and AKs.
