Mmmm, beachy
The family is here and having a good time. I’d post pics but the camera is in the bedroom where the second is napping.
Junior loved the beach. The Second took some time to warm up to it. And he’s got the trots diarrhea*. And diaper rash.
But other than that, we’re having a good time.
* The Mrs. says trots sounds trashy.

trashy? surely not, it’s got a British stiff-upper-lip ring to it in my ears. but if the kid’s still in diapers, how much actual trotting is he doing?

Beach is good for everyone. Just slather them up with sunblock.
I loved building big pyramids on the beach. Always brought in the sand from somewhere away so I didn’t loose elevation. Also big sculpted battleships.

Where I come from – a mainline Communist household whose ideology I escaped thru insufficient indoctrination – Trots was a derogatory term for those whose politics look almost identical from over here on the right.

I hope the weather turned out to be good. It’s a really nice weekend here in Pennsylvania.

I suppose “trots” is better than “the guacamole splatters.”
I’d probably use the latter if my wife objected to “trots.”
No doubt this explains why I am no longer married. 😉

I think from this comment on, everyone should have to come up with a phrase for “trots” that would be far far worse 🙂
My submission: “blowing bowel chunks”

Glad to hear it’s not “intermittent explosive diarrhea”. You can’t hide that even in the surf.
Hope you all are having fun.

Mrs. X used to object that the “runs” was too trashy so now I call it the shits instead.
