Quote of the day
Reading Kevin’s open letter to Robyn Ringler, the impression I’m left with is the gun-control movement, because it has always had a friendly media willing to print anything without question or criticism, has never had to seriously defend its views in an open forum, and is discovering they aren’t prepared for it.

I see Sebastian is entertaining JadeGold in his comments. One wonders why Jade isn’t commenting here?
Oh, right: He thinks you and I are the same person, and that you (I mean me) banned him here.
I’ve concluded that Jade is a couple of fries short of a Happy Meal.

“I’ve concluded that Jade is a couple of fries short of a Happy Meal.”
Not too mention incapable of logic, rational thought, or ad hominem attacks. I ran into him some time back, and felt like I was trying to reason with a not-too-bright ten year old, and decided to quit trying.

Someone has suggested that Jade is a ‘bot that has just barely failed the Turing Test. Personally, I think he’s a wetware version of same!
But you’re wrong about one thing: Jade has ad hominems down pat!

Jade is not crazy nor mentally deficient. He is, however, morally deficient and evil.

*raises his hand* Though, I do not believe he is a ‘bot… I honestly believe there is a person behind that screenname, but I also honestly believe he would fail the Turing Test.
And I am going to have to disagree with you, StraightArrow… calling him evil gives him far too much credit, and he definitely meets the “doing something over and over again and expecting a different result” classification of insane…

ok, I agree to criminally insane, but that is as far as I will go.

Well my response to Jadgold evidently hasn’t been approved yet, or Ms. Ringler deleted it. All I asked Jadegold to do is to post his source of the statistics he “Quoted”, funny how I posted that “I” was using the FBI’s Uniform Crime Statistics, which anyone can access, but he can cast aspersions to what I say and not follow it up with checkable data.
