I don’t know why the felony that Briley apparently committed would be any less of a reason to force him to resign than the felonies that are otherwise committed every legislative day by the rest of the General Assembly.

This boy should really not drink. I’ve gotten drunk and slept with someone that I regret but he gets in an accident, leaves the scene, evades arrest, vandalizes a police car and reveals an appearance of conflict in his choice of lawyer. Now that is a bad drunk.

I love the effort at damage control from rehab. Don’t they have Democratic press department for the State House? Keep hanging on to power as long as you can Briley. It seems to be all you have left.
