Firing Blanks
DAMIT had his dudes severed. Me and the Mrs. are now 99.9% sure that we do not want another little rugrat. Maybe, mostly, kinda, sorta, except on Tuesdays when we’ve had time to think about it, err but almost definitely. Maybe.
At some point, when we pick up the additional 0.1%, I’ll be getting the ol’ snip snip. It doesn’t sound too bad, from what I hear. But it does come with the added benefit of giving me back about a 20X5 area of my workshop since we can get rid of all the baby clothes we’re keeping just in case.

We have #3 on the way. It will be the last and then I get to recover about the same amount of space and over a dozen duffle bags.

I freaked myself out reading about everything that could go wrong, but honestly, it wasn’t that bad. And yes, it’s great to know there’s no chance of number 6 happening.

We’re still wanting number three, but we’re going to space this next one out a bit more so we don’t wind up with three kids in college at once. Sheesh.

You could always donate, and then do the snip-snip. Cryo storage seems to be a few hundred a year, which is much less than 100 square feet per year at the you-store-it place.
I always thought that government subsidized cryo storage and Vasectomy for men would be a dandy poison pill to add to any government subsidized abortion on demand legislation.

No way. After the Rise of the Zombies and the obvious need to repopulate the planet, the only men who are gonna get any tail will be the ones who don’t shoot blanks. So, make sure your rifle is clean and your gun is in operating condition.

Things have probably changed some from 19 years ago but here is my story.

I woulda gotten it done except that Mrs. G. doesn’t believe in sex after marriage…

My Kiddie-Kannon had the fuse removed 2 years ago. Outside of a little discomfort for a few days, it was relatively painless. I had the no incision procedure which replaces getting “cut” with a lot of yanking and prodding.
That and there’s something disturbing about driving around town and seeing your doctor’s face on billboards all over.

Well, considering we do not even have #1 on the way yet, I doubt this will be a great concern for me for some time. That said, once we have determined how many we would like, and executed as necessary, something tells me I will be researching this proceedure a little more closely.

Hey, we spaced our five out pretty well. There’s either 2 or 3 years between each one. We’ve got three in college right now (ages 16, 19, 24) and there’s a 22 in there that could be in college but isn’t doing too well at his job to bother finishing his degree.
Oh, the procedure was easy, painless, and the recovery was even milder than they said it would be.
