Well now, any tracer in any caliber, fired from any weapon could have served as a cig. lighter. I was expecting to see the guy stick the cig. in his mouth, point the muzzle at the end of the cig. and torch off a long burst of full-auto. I was going to be really, really impressed by that.
Now kids– don’t go trying that, OK? I’m about 99.999% sure it would never work anyway, except to remove parts of your head.
I’ve done that with the SKS once, due to me forgetting and no one having a light handy. Also used the kitchen stove a couple of times too. Smokers are very creative when it comes to making fire to light up a Camel.

Heck, I darn near lit the grips on the ever-indulgent wife’s AK when we were playing with the 75-rd drum.
