HK Uppers For Civilian Sale
We hate you a bit less but you still suck:
As of now, and as has been rumored for several weeks on the Internet, HKPRO.COM can report with accuracy that HK has indeed reversed that decision, and has decided to introduce to the market, a civilian legal version of the HK416 and HK417!
Update: Translation: Hey, a drop off in military sales?

I talked to a Styer rep once who suggested that they would love to build a factory in the US to make the AUG, but that they were worried the political climate could change and scuttle their investment.
Does H&K have a US factory? They’ve been more overtly hostile to the civilian market, but they would still face the same risk factor if they don’t already have US production facilities.

HK products are designed in Sterling, VA for the US market. It is 20 miles from my house. The guns for the US market are made in Columbus, Georgia.

it appears that H&K may have been blindsided by the microstamping law in Ca. I think they are just backing up and looking at their hole card right now.
I hope they desert the Ca. LE market. Which if they do, will mean they will look to other markets.

H&K can still kiss my A…, The only way I would have one of their weapons is if they gave it to me or sold it to me for a penny.
I’m just ol’ and hardheaded that way.
