“BATFE agents will be visiting Mr. Parsons in the very near future with the possible intent of convincing him to be a guest of the federal government for a time.”
Assuming, that is, that they’re not too busy trying to arrest the employees of Lock Stock & Barrel for writing “Y” and “N” instead of “Yes” and “No” on the applicable paperwork.
Of course, they can’t charge Mr. Parsons for not filling out his paperwork because doing so, for him, would amount to self-incrimination.
I hope we do see a follow up on this story revealing whether or not the Federal charges stick or get plea-bargained away.
Well they may not have time to talk to Parsons, after all, they didn’t have time to go to Chicago (these cops got off) or Albany (these cops are being kept secret) to participate in punishment of illegal purchasers and possessors of machine guns. I mean, what with being busy with Red’s and all.
Few years back a friend told me about a lady he knew who was going through a nasty divorce. She worked in a sporting goods store- in Texas, mind you- and her ex showed up one day and threatened her with a knife.
I’m told the sight of multiple subway-size bores pointing at him caused a certain physical reaction on his part.

I remember a few years ago when some amazing idiot walked into a gun store and tried to rob it by threatening the owner with a knife.
