I worked as a Military and Civilian federal fighter for over 30 years and that video is the biggest batch of bullshit I’ve ever seen! And I saw and heard a LOT of bullshit in that 30 year span!
Some BATF nazis landed at Vandenberg AFB California in 1999, where I was working at the time, and they were the most arrogant assholes I’ve ever had the displeasure to meet. Did we respect them? Hell no! We had a better opinion of the Air Force security cops and THEY’RE a buncha arrogant assholes too. Maybe BATF’s members are former USAF security goons. That would go a long way towards explaining their arrogance and lack of professionalism.
My son has a command of Air Force cops and security detail and I can tell you his troops had better not display arrogance or lack of professionalism. He will exact a heavy price for either.
Of course he is a mustang and knows how the cow pattie flops. He started at the low end of the totem pole and served under some very incompetent and arrogant officers. He has determined not to be one, nor to train any others to it.

I’m glad to hear that your son aint the average USAF SP straightarrow, that he’s concientous of doing a professional job. Kudos to him. He’s a rare USAF SP.
He was at Rhein-Meine (sp?) when the terrorists blew up the cafe outside the gate. He was a private at that time. Although, it was pretty certain that the perpetrators had gone by the time the bomb went off, they had to sweep the woods to make sure the base, itself, was secure.
Back then base security and anti-terrorism, his unit, was separate from the police function. They all fall under one command now. Anyway, he said there was a heavy mist of fog in the woods they were searching and even though they expected to not find anyone, it was sort of scary.
When they returned from the mission for debriefing, his commander asked him how long he had been wearing those “damn glasses”. He replied, “Since I was six years old, sir.”
His commander started to upbraid him for being a smartass because you couldn’t be in the anti-terrorism unit if you needed corrective lenses. My son, told him “Sir, I wore these all through training, I can’t see across the room without them.”
He was immediately transferred out of the unit and became an AF cop. Later he went on to provide security for SAC and other bases all around the world, has done three tours in the Mideast, during the hostilities. He is now a major in charge of a unit that has all three functions under its assigned duties. Base security, anti-terrorism, and policing.
He completed a four year degree in one year, he was as high as he could go enlisted, and the service had been after him for a long time to go to OCS. He asked me what he should do, as it was his last chance. If he turned it down again, he would have too much age in grade to be commissioned a 2nd Lt. at completion of the course. He didn’t have a lot of respect for most officers, either, so he didn’t think he would want to be one.
I told him, that as much as I tended to dislike officers, it was mostly the ring knockers I didn’t care for and mustangs were a totally different breed. I also told him officers also lived better and usually got better jobs when they retired from the service. He went to OCS.
But, he never forgot that some dunderhead let him complete his training, and be assigned to an active unit even though at the time his vision quite obviously disqualified him. He doesn’t make those mistakes.
As you might be able to tell, I am quite proud of him. He earned it. I bask in it. Even if he is a damn officer.
