I used to listen to Boortz, and now he has become a Hannity worshiping right wing moron. He calls himself a Libertarian and his faithful have been for the most part Libertrian, but his true colors have been exposed.
I have heard him contradict himself 20 times in the last month, and his views fall just short of most right wing talk show hosts, his favorite being Sean Hannity whom he follows around the country.
His only stance I believe he has not changed to match the corperate medias ire is the 2nd amendment, and as far as anyone doing homework, Neal’s is done with the help of Fox News and Rush.
He is really like O’reilly who always says his way or the highway when doing an interview, and O’reilly really shows his true colors by sponsoring an ad for an anti troop movie he rants about all the time.
“Fox News loves Redacted, and their MONEY, by airing ad for movie on FOX during O’Reilly’s show. Since profits at FOX News are ALWAYS more important than ideology, it was easy.

Great article by Marko.
Funny thing is, I could have sworn I’d seen another article covering the exact same subject, written by another guy.
Don’t get me wrong–I trust that Marko wrote the article posted on his site. It’s just that I suspect other people have had similar moments of enlightenment, and wrote about it in a similar way. (The underlying logic, persuasion vs. force, and the equalizing nature of a firearms “point-and-click interface”, ought to be obvious to everyone.)
This might be an aggravating factor in the mis-identification of the author. Other people wrote similar things at other times. Their friends don’t have photographic memory, so they mis-identify similar writing by Marko as coming from Someone Else, and claim that the credit really belongs to Someone Else.

Boortz was probably picking it up from others on the web who had mis-attributed Marko’s writings to some Maj. Caudill, whoever that is. And since that happened shortly after Marko published ( at least judging from my quick Googling ) it shows Boortz didn’t do thorough research, but I think it’s somewhat less than criminal. The key here is whether Boortz will correct himself when someone brings it to his attention. At any rate, I think Marko will be just fine.

A great article! The most reasoned and easy to understand description of why the second amendment rights are important that I’ve ever read.
