Is it just me, or did that not make sense? Analogy: give kids condoms and tell them not to screw. Huh? Or is it trying to show the mixed messages we send kids? Is it a post-modernist deconstructionist allegory for the oneness of our existence? I’m so confused…
I assume it was more giving kids the ability to have sex and then telling them not to screw. It’s a heavy handed metaphor, on a webcomic known for them.
There’s a certain degree of snarkiness that’s very easy to get away with if you don’t bother actually thinking, or figuring out the data from both sides of the debate.
why do the anti’s always equate gun with penises? They say WE have the phallic issues…I think it is a deeper trend that underscores all of collectivism. Since their ideology is a growth of feminism, maybe they all fear the penis as the ultimate symbol of oppression. Hmm, how best can we use our shafts of justice against them?
I enjoyed the comic! It reminded me of that wonderful day when my parents gave me my penis and told me to not use it. The whole thing holds together rather nicely in my mind.
